Now entering the twilight zone

If you live in a swing-state, don't be surprised if there are armed Trump supporters at your polling place, causing chaos, intimidating voters, and causing fights in order to "prevent voter fraud." In 2018, a decades-old consent decree was allowed to expire, which means Republicans can now mobilize their supporters to "secure" ballots on Election Day this year. Before 1981, when the RNC was banned from using armed militia-men to intimidate and harass voters, task forces consisting of armed, off-duty police officers would patrol polling places in an attempt to scare away people of color from nearing the polls (readily and purposely deploying minority's fear of the police). The ban on such Republican activities is now gone, and the Republican Party is already assembling its army to war for Trump.
